Malagasy, Southern Betsimisaraka is a language of Madagascar with over 2,000,000 users in the Atsinanana, Atsimo-Atsinanana, Amoron’i Mania, and Vakinankaratra, and Vatovavy-Fitovinany regions; Alaotra-Mangoro region: south border; Mahanoro, Nosy Varika, Mananjary, and Manakara Atsimo districts.

Dialects include; Vezo, Northern Sakalava Boeny, Southern Sakalava Boeny, Menabe. A member of macrolanguage Malagasy.
